Scratch is located in Johnson City, Tennessee of all unlikely places… It is easily accessible from US I-26 at exit 22. Follow Unaka Avenue to the intersection with North Roan Street.
Ample street parking is available on Unaka Avenue as well as a small attached parking area accessed on Roan Street off of the alley behind Scratch. Due to our expanded outdoor dining area and indeoor dining closure, CURBSIDE SERVICE is available for customers with disabilities who may find our walk up window process prohibitive.
COVID
Due to the ongoing pandemic, our indoor dining room remains closed. Please understand that every restaurant has their own unique factors influencing these decisions. Our building was simply not designed to safely ventilate the interior space with a high volume of people during this unprecendented time. Therefore, for the safety of our staff, and in the interest of continuing to offer carry out and outdoor service, we will maintain the current, walk up window system. It's just like a drive thru, except without your car!
